Hutto has a different mix of places and properties than the older parts of the Austin metro. Old Town Hutto contains historic buildings, local shops, restaurants, and the Downtown Commercial Historic District, while newer areas extend around communities such as Hutto Highlands, Emory Crossing, Hutto Crossing, Hutto Square, Lakeside Estates, Riverwalk, and neighborhoods around Brushy Creek.
For vehicle owners, Hutto’s location along US 79 and SH 130 also makes it a practical location for people commuting through the broader Central Texas area.
That local mix matters when choosing window film. A commuter may prioritize solar heat and glare control, while another vehicle owner may care more about privacy, appearance, or maintaining clear visibility. For homes, the goal may be reducing sunlight and glare while keeping the interior bright.
King Tint & Detail can help you choose a film based on those priorities rather than simply selecting the darkest tint.

King Tint & Detail is the place to go. Joe, the owner is amazing and very knowledgeable. I originally had an appointment at Tint World, but they did not honor my online appointment. Kind of glad they did not. I found King Tint on Google and Joe had time right then. I was only planning on getting the two front widows tinted because the other windows looked like they already had a Tint on them. Joe explained that it was only colored glass for privacy with no uv rating. He actually was able to show me the difference with a heat lamp. He is very knowledgeable and took the time to educate me. I decided to go ahead and do all the windows. He used a low tint rating, but a high uv rating on the already dark windows to make sure they would not be overly dark. Needless to say, it came out amazing and I would refer him to everybody. Thank you Joe for doing an amazing job.Posted on Google![]()
